Li Muri is a single-variety Vermentino vinified in compliance with the most appropriate wine making techinques used to produce this well-known white wine. It is presented and marketed with the “ Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita “ label provided for Superior Quality Vermentino di Gallura. (Controlled and Guaranteed Denomination of Origin). Li muri (the dry-stone walls) are a typical feature of Sardinian rural landscapes. They are built to mark small farms and extend thousands of kilometres across ardous fields as far as the see. Li Muri are also the round walls of the ancient Sardinian dwellings called Nuraghe and we actually named this wine after the stone walls surrouding some Nuraghe ruins located near the farm. The label shows a stylization of the foundations of one of these buildings.
